Most recruitment networks capture all the value and pay none of it back. Contractors do the work. Clients pay the fee. The recruiter pockets the spread. The network that made the placement possible never sees a cent of it.
Novara is structured differently. Anyone in the network can introduce work in either direction — a contractor knows a hiring manager, a hiring manager knows a contractor, a colleague flags someone between projects — and the introducer gets paid when it converts. Not as a marketing gimmick. Built into the founding contract.
Three years of GP share on every client you connect us with. A flat fee on every new contractor you introduce. Notified first on every role, before it reaches the open market. The contractors and clients in your network are worth money — to you, not just to us.
No pooling. No sharing. Your referral income is yours directly. Paid in full once each placement clears.
Introduce a contact you know personally — through your professional network. One email, Novara copied. You earn 7.5% of Net Monthly GP on every placement made through Novara via that contact for three years from the first qualifying placement.
Know a great offshore professional we haven't worked with? Flag them. When they mobilise through Novara, you earn USD 100 per mobilisation across their first six placements (up to USD 600 per individual). Where Novara specifically asks you to flag someone you've worked with — even if they're already known to us — the same USD 100 per mobilisation applies.
When a role lands at Novara, the Network is told first. Always. Not a job-board ping, not an alert. A direct line about a specific role we think fits your profile. If you’re available, you’re in. If you’re not, we move on.
Every Network member gets a monthly statement from Ross personally. Full breakdown: GP earned, deductions applied, fee due (or not), cumulative total, window remaining. Always personal. Never automated.
From Year 3 onward, the most active 10 Network members share an annual discretionary bonus pool equal to 5% of Novara's Net GP — distributed proportionally to leaderboard points earned. Recognition of contribution, paid in cash, on top of everything you've already earned. Build now. Share later.
Top 10 members by annual leaderboard points share a discretionary annual bonus pool equal to 5% of Novara's Annual Net GP (after referral fees deducted). Paid within 90 days of financial year-end, with external accountant certification of the pool calculation available on request. Annual reset — must be re-earned each year. This is a discretionary performance-based bonus pool. Not a profit share. Not an equity interest. Not a right to inspect Novara's books.
Network membership is invite-only. There's no self-application route. Every member is in because someone who knows their work vouched for them.
Five years minimum in subsea, survey, ROV, inspection, offshore engineering, marine operations, cables & offshore wind, or data centre infrastructure.
From an existing Network member or directly from Ross. No self-applications. The vouch is the filter.
Skills, certifications, current availability, day rate range, geographies you'll work. Built together on a call with Ross in Week 1.
Professional conduct on placements. Honest about availability. Prompt responses when work comes through. The Network polices its own bar.
Members must disclose any commercial, employment, or family relationship with potential referred contacts. Self-referral by client-side hiring managers in respect of their own employer is not permitted. Full conflict rules in the next section.
Some referrals don’t qualify — here’s what to know upfront. We’d rather be clear at the start than have an awkward conversation later when a payment doesn’t clear.
Contractors we already know — provided we haven’t actively engaged them on a live role in the past 90 days. Sitting in our database doesn’t count as “in process.” If we’ve spoken about a specific role in the last quarter, it does.
When in doubt, ask before you introduce. We’ll tell you straight whether it qualifies.
On every client referral, members confirm they hold no role, procurement authority, or commercial influence over the referred company’s engagement of recruitment services. Payment is conditional on this remaining true throughout the 36-month referral window. If your relationship with a referred company changes, tell us within 14 days — we’ll pause and discuss.
Why we do this: we pay fairly because we play straight. Referral fees are for genuine connectors, not insiders.
If two members refer the same contact, the first registered referral takes priority. Always register before you introduce — one WhatsApp to Ross is enough to lock your claim.

Terms apply. Membership is subject to qualifying criteria and the Novara Network & Circle Member Agreement (the binding contract). Referral fees are paid on Net GP, calculated as gross GP minus Professional Indemnity insurance and invoice financing costs. The minimum monthly threshold of USD 2,000 Net GP applies. Client referrals are subject to qualifying tests, conflict exclusions, and an influence warranty. Referrals lapse if no qualifying placement is made within 6 months of introduction. Each Novara entity contracts with members in respect of placements it has itself invoiced; no joint or several liability arises between the entities. Issued by Novara Search Pte Ltd (Singapore Co.
